Listening: to the loud hum of a crashing computer (not this one, though)
Sitting: in my garage.
Smelling: maccas coke smell wafting through the cold air (I mean air-air, not Nike airs, of which my mind is currently revolving around right now)
Well, I haven't really said anything about shoes on this blog, but usually when I see a person for the first time, I judge them by their shoes. Not kidding. Its just a weird reflex that started to develop around early last year... and there are no signs that it will go away.
So, that means that I just have to have the right shoes. People have learnt not to go shoe shopping with me, because I just take AGES finding the right shoe that gives the best first impression.
I have heard a few months ago that Hype DC will be selling womens' Hi Dunks from Nike. I've had it with having to buy mens' shoes because there aren't any decent ones for women. There is wayy too much space and since my foot is wider to the front, the first three hours of wearing new sneakers are excrutiatingly painful.
This is the shoe they're selling at Hype. Although there are other colours of this model, they're only selling this colour at the Sydney shop. Which is a bit unfortunate for people whose personality isn't reflected with a peachy pink colour. But I still think its cute. But if you're up for it, I'm sure somewhere on the Internet people are selling different colours ^_^Now, I'm gonna educate you about a shoe I fell in love with.
I found it last year. It also came in purple with gold stripes and red. I like the red one, but I couldn't find it. I love this one because its like having a kimono wrapped around your feet xD. I swear I came across an Onitsuka Tiger shop in Sydney, but I kinda forgot where it was (getting lost seems to be my specialty). Owh wells. The Mexico 66 seems to suit everyone, even my PE teacher. Here's a convo I had during fitness testing (ugh) with my teacher:Me: Hey miss, how do you keep your shoes so clean?
Her: I bought a new pair.
M: But they look exactly the same as your old ones.
H: I bought the same kind.
Well, if she loves them that much, how can I not love them more?
Come to think about it, I wonder what people think about me when I'm constantly asking questions about their shoes...
cyas~!
Ah, the Mexico 66. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'd buy that same colour scheme if it was up to me.
